Give arrival day one job: settle in

Your first day in Orlando already has plenty to do. There may be a flight, baggage collection, a rental-car queue, a drive, and a group of people arriving with different energy levels. Build an arrival plan that can absorb those things instead of treating check-in as the finish line of a tightly timed itinerary.

The current Sunchic Vacations website lists standard check-in at 4 p.m. and check-out at 10 a.m. Follow your own reservation instructions for access details, and do not assume early entry. If you expect to reach the area ahead of check-in, plan a flexible stop and keep essentials with you.

Before departure: pack a first-hour bag

Keep the items you will need immediately together: chargers, a change of clothes, pajamas, swimwear, toiletries, and each child’s comfort item. Carry essential medications and personal supplies with you. Avoid putting everything you need for bedtime at the bottom of several suitcases.

Save the reservation instructions where you can retrieve them easily. Share the agreed arrival plan with the adults in your group, including who is driving and who is coordinating groceries. Keep entry codes and sensitive booking information out of public messages or social posts.

Before driving: settle the practical questions

If you are renting a vehicle, check how tolls will be paid and what fees the rental company applies. Florida’s Turnpike explains that rental-company arrangements differ, so make the choice using your agreement rather than an assumption from a previous trip.

Check the route to your actual villa before leaving the airport. Factor in luggage, passenger needs, a possible food stop, and the time you can enter the property. If members of your group are arriving separately, agree on one meeting plan rather than expecting everyone to reach the door together.

Keep the first grocery shop small

Start with the first dinner, breakfast, and a few reliable snacks. A simple basket might include coffee or tea, milk or an alternative, fruit, cereal, yogurt, water, and ingredients for one easy meal. Adjust for your group’s allergies, dietary needs, and preferences.

Check the property’s listed starter supplies before buying household essentials. The villas have kitchens, but that does not mean a fully stocked pantry. If arranging a delivery, confirm that the provider serves your exact address, understand the access arrangements, and choose a time when someone can receive it. Do not assume groceries can be left inside before check-in.

At the villa: orient first, unpack second

Take a few minutes to find bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces. Agree on sleeping arrangements using the actual beds you reviewed before booking. Read the house instructions and identify how to contact Sunchic Vacations if something needs attention.

If pool time is on the agenda, first review the pool information and barriers and arrange attentive adult supervision for children. Heating is an optional extra in the quote; do not assume the spa heats independently. Put the first-hour bag somewhere useful, start an easy meal, and save the full unpacking job for when everyone has settled.

Before bed: prepare just the next morning

Choose breakfast, set out the day bag, charge devices, and agree on a realistic departure time. For a park day, review the attraction’s official information and the route to its particular entrance or parking area. You do not need to solve the entire week tonight.

If the travel day runs late, give yourself permission to shorten tomorrow’s plan where your bookings allow. A relaxed first evening is not wasted vacation time. It is how your group starts the stay with enough energy to enjoy it. Use the arrival checklist below to agree on the practical details with your group.

What is already provided?

Our current starter-supply list includes:

  • Two toilet-paper rolls per bathroom and one bag per bathroom trash can.
  • One kitchen paper-towel roll.
  • Travel-size 2-in-1 shampoo per shower.
  • Starter dish soap, dishwasher pods and a kitchen sponge.
  • Starter laundry-detergent pods.

Towels, bed linen, pillows and covers are provided. Kitchens include cookware, utensils, plates, glasses and flatware; food and pantry ingredients are not provided. Buy replenishments according to your group size and length of stay rather than assuming the starter quantities will last all week.

Your arrival checklist

  • Save your villa address and private arrival instructions before travel.
  • Check the 4 p.m. standard check-in time against your reservation.
  • Keep chargers, toiletries, bedtime items and a change of clothes easy to reach.
  • Confirm your rental-car toll arrangement and route.
  • Plan dinner, breakfast, drinking water and household replenishments.
  • Coordinate grocery delivery for a time someone can receive it.
  • Review the room guide together.
  • Prepare only what you need for the following morning.

For visitors arriving from abroad, check your mobile provider’s roaming arrangements before travel and save the address and instructions for offline access. Choose chargers or adapters appropriate to your devices. Keep the first evening flexible if your group will be adjusting to a time difference.
